Boil Order Issued for Residents of Sandy Lake

(Friday, August 25, 2000)-A Boil Order to homeowners and cottagers on Sandy Lake and a No Swimming Advisory in the Lake is still in effect until further notice.

Residents who draw their water from the Lake or wells in the vicinity of the Lake are advised to boil the water for two (2) minutes before drinking, making ice cubes, washing foods, brushing teeth or any other activity required human consumption. In addition, the Lake should not be used for recreational purposes such as swimming, fishing, boating, etc.
