Open House for HRM Multi-Use Trails and Transportation Studies

(Tuesday, September 19/2000)--The HRM Trans-Canada Multi-Use Trails Project in downtown Dartmouth, an active transportation pilot project of HRM Parks and Recreation Services, and The HRM Downtown Dartmouth Transportation Study will be holding an open house next week to present an overview to the public.

Preliminary concepts for key areas in both studies will be presented. Staff and consultants from both studies will be on hand to answer questions.

Comments from the community at large will be appreciated.

When: Wednesday, September 27/2000

Where: Helen Creighton Room, 2nd floor of the Alderney Gate branch of the Halifax Regional Library

Time: Between 4 p.m and 8 p.m.

Parking for cyclists is available at the main entrance. There is a parking lot for cars on the north side of Alderney Gate, near the Dartmouth Ferry terminal, or in the parking garage.
