High Winds Force Closure of Point Pleasant Park
(Monday, December 18/2000)-- In the interests of public safety, HRM Parks and Natural Services has issued an order to close Point Pleasant Park immediately. It will remain closed to the public until further notice.
HRM tree crews are on site clearing fallen trees and will remain on duty in the event that more trees are blown-over or uprooted due to the high winds.
