Budget Briefing
(Monday, February 26/2001) -- The proposed 2001/2002 Capital and Operating Budget for Halifax Regional Municipality will be tabled at a regular meeting of Regional Council tomorrow evening ( Tuesday, February 27th), beginning at 6 p.m.
As in previous years, there will be a briefing for the media prior to the public presentation of the proposed Budget document.
No information related to the document, in whole or in part, may be released by participating media outlets prior to the Budget being tabled at Regional Council.
Also, reporters attending the briefing must agree in advance not to discuss the proposed Budget with the Mayor or Councillors prior to the document being tabled.
