Correction
(Tuesday, May 22/2001)-- Please note that advertisements regarding Halifax Regional Municipality's celebration of Public Works Week, published in today's and Sunday's editions of The Chronicle Herald, contained the incorrect date for the open house and equipment display at Grand Parade and City Hall.
The ads should have read that the public works equipment ( e.g. backhoes, street sweepers, snow plows, dump trucks, etc) and other static displays will be available for viewing by the public on THURSDAY, May 24, 2001, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The ads incorrectly stated the events would take place on Tuesday, May 24th.
HRM appreciates any effort by the media to bring the correct date to the notice of the public.
