Fire Service Demonstrations Planned for Mic Mac Mall
(Wednesday, August 15, 2001)-- The Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service will be staging live demonstrations this weekend at the Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth.
The demos will take place in both the Center Court and the Bay Court within the mall area. They will include such things as High Angle Rescue, Vehicle Extraction, Thermal Imaging Cameras, and proper use of Medical Equipment.
In addition, those who are interested can have their blood pressure taken at the display areas and visitors are invited to ask questions or offer comments about HRM's Fire and Emergency Service.
When: Friday, August 17th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Saturday, August 18th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
