Councillor Sloane said " I am very pleased that these two motivated entrepreneurs have made Gottingen Street the location for their business. Every new business is a new start for Gottingen Street."

She added "The fact that another hostel is being established in the province is a good indication that there is a boom in backpacking in Nova Scotia. However, I consider the establishment of this new business as part of the revival of Gottingen Street. "
