RCMP Vehicles To Get the HRM Look
(Monday, March 25/2002)-- RCMP cruisers and other vehicles used for policing within the Halifax Regional Municipality will soon have a bright, new addition to their distinctive identification package.
Mayor Peter Kelly and Superintendent Stan Ferguson, Officer-in-Charge of RCMP Halifax Detachment, will apply the municipality's corporate logo to the first RCMP vehicle to be so marked in the Grand Parade on Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at 10 a.m.
It is believed this is the first time that the RCMP has ever included a municipal corporate logo with its vehicle markings.
