Launch - Emergency Services Achievement Program

(Tuesday, April 23, 2002)- The Emergency Services Achievement Program (ESAP) will be launched on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00 pm at Station 9, 1 Metropolitan Ave, Lower Sackville. Along with representatives of the Fire and Emergency Service, Deputy Mayor Bob Harvey and other elected officials will be in attendance.

The program is funded through a partnership with Human Resource Development Canada as a Youth Canada initiative to expose priority youth to practical life skills and employment scenarios within fire services and recreation.

Many of our Career and Volunteer firefighters, along with administrative personnel, have contributed to this program as speakers, mentors, assistants, advisors, and work shadow supervisors.
