Volunteers Needed for Community Clean-Up
(Thursday, May 23, 2002)-- District 6 Councillor Brian Warshick is looking for volunteers.
The Councillor is organizing a community clean-up on Saturday (May 25th) as part of the Halifax Regional Municipality's 2002 Spring Community Clean-Up campaign.
Participants will be provided with kits containing blue and green bags, latex gloves and a bio-hazard container, as well as information on safety and materials sorting.
The clean-up area includes Churchill Drive, Byron Crescent and Ruben Court.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the new District 6 Community Police Office, 95 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth, at 9 a.m.
