Downtown Clean-up Challenge
(Tuesday, June 4, 2002) -- Mayor Peter Kelly will be making a clean sweep of downtown Dartmouth on Thursday, as part of its Spring clean-up campaign.
Downtown Dartmouth Development Corporation has issued a challenge to the Downtown Halifax Business Commission to see which group has the cleaner community. The duel will take place on opposite sides of the harbour on Thursday, June 6.
Both organizations are active partners in HRM's Capital District Maintenance Plan, that was launched last week.
