Fall a Good Time to Check Batteries in Smoke Detectors
(Thursday, October 24/2002)-- Fall is a time when we all have to adjust our clocks back one hour.
Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency Service recommends that you check and/or change the battery in your smoke detector at the same time you change the time on your clock(s) this weekend.
