HRM Tax Structure Committee To Present Recommendations to Council
(Monday, November 25/2002)-- HRM's Tax Structure Committee will submit its Public Consultation Report to Halifax Regional Council at its regular meeting tomorrow evening.
In advance of the presentation, Councillor Ron Cooper, Chair of the Tax Structure Committee, and HRM Financial Services staff will be available in the Media Room, Lower Level, City Hall, at 4 p.m. for media briefing regarding the report.
It is intended that copies of the report will be made available later in the week at all HRM Regional Library branches, HRM Customer Service Centres and on the HRM Website. A dedicated phone line and e-mail address will also be made available to capture additional comments from HRM residents.
