Council, School Board to Tour New High School
(Tuesday, December 31/2002)-- Nova Scotia's newest high school will be open to students next week.
The new facility, which replaces the former Halifax West High School, is located on Thomas Raddall Drive, off Regency, in Clayton Park West.
Prior to the opening, Mayor Peter Kelly and Members of Halifax Regional Council; Board Members and staff of the Halifax Regional School Board; and representatives of the Government of Nova Scotia and the Department of Education will tour the new facility this Friday.
The media is invited to join the tour.
When: Friday, January 3, 2002
Time: 9 a.m.
Where: Take Lacewood Drive to Regency Drive (near the new Keshen Goodman Library) and then follow Thomas Raddall Drive to the new school.
