Halifax Regional Council Seeking Public Input on Budget
(Thursday, January 23/2003)-- Halifax Regional Council is inviting residents of the municipality to get involved in the 2003/2004 Budget Process.
In the coming weeks, HRM Financial Services staff will be making brief presentations at meetings of the six Community Councils to provide the public with a general overview of the Budget process and current financial issues.

For general inquiries about HRM's proposed 2003-2004 Budget, residents are encouraged to visit the HRM website at www.halifax.ca or call the Corporate Call Centre at 490-4000 or toll free at 1-800-835-6428 (TDY # 490-6645).
The 2003/2004 Budget is expected to be tabled before Halifax Regional Council on February 24, 2003.
