Flooding Closes Several Streets/Roads Throughout HRM
As of 3 p.m--- (Monday, March 31/2003)-- Halifax Regional Municipality advises that the following streets are closed to severe flooding conditions.
Old Sambro Road- Between Dentith Road and Sussex Street
Bedford Highway- Between Bayview Road and Flamingo Drive
Hammonds Plains Road, at the Bluewater Road
Portobello Road, in front of the Nova Scotia Natural Resources Depot
Motorists who would normally uses these streets are urged to seek an alternate route until flooding conditions subside.
HRM urges motorists to slow down and use extreme caution when driving in view of the widespread flooding conditions on streets and roads throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality.
