Public Hearing on Smoking By-law to Begin at 6 p.m.
(Tuesday, April 1/2003)-- It was erroneously reported in The Chronicle Herald this morning that the public hearing on the Smoking By-law would begin at 1:30 in the Council Chambers, City Hall.
In fact, the public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers and has been advertised so for some time.
Your co-operation in advising your viewers and listeners of the correct starting time would be greatly appreciated.
