West Nile Virus Inquiries
(Wednesday, April 30/2003)-- Halifax Regional Municipality has been receiving a number of telephone inquires from residents and members of the media regarding the West Nile Virus.
Please be advised that such inquires should be directed to the Nova Scotia Department of Health or Health Canada, the agencies responsible for public health issues.
HRM, like other municipalities in Nova Scotia, is taking its lead from the Nova Scotia Department of Health, the provincial agency responsible, on matters related to the spread of the West Nile Virus.
