Traffic Flow Reduced to Two-Lanes
(Tuesday, September 16/2003)-- Motorists are advised that traffic between the Armdale Rotary and the intersection of the Herring Cove/Purcell's Cove Road (site of former IPC Store) will be reduced from three lanes to two lanes during daytime hours for the next month.
However, three lanes will be in operation during the peak morning and evening drive times (7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.)
The one-lane closure between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. is to accommodate construction associated with the repair and rebuilding of a retaining wall on the eastern side of the road.
