Canadian Municipal SAP Groups Meet in Halifax
(Wednesday, September 24/2003)--- Halifax Regional Municipality's Information Technology Section will be hosting a national municipal conference at the Halifax Citadel Fortress from September 29- October 1.
The conference will provide municipal staff members that develop and support their management systems to share information and learn about the latest developments regarding the SAP system. Specifically, these groups share technical and other solutions that are common to all municipalities in an effort to reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve customer service.
This organization was founded three years ago by Halifax Regional Municipal IT staff and has evolved into a major national municipal group involving municipalities across Canada, such as Edmonton; Vancouver; Toronto; Nanaimo and Abbotsford (British Columbia); Thunder Bay, Ont.; Mississauga, Ont.; the Central Regional District of British Columbia; Ottawa, and the Region of Halton.
