HMCS St. John's to Donate to "Milk for Moms" Campaign
(Thursday, October 23/2003)-- Councillor Dawn Sloane will be on hand tomorrow morning when crew members of HMCS St. John's present a cheque and food donation to the "Milk for Moms" campaign.
The ceremony will take place Friday, October 24th, at 11:30 AM, at the Parker St. Furniture Bank, 2415 Maynard Street, Halifax.
The "Milk for Moms" campaign that was initiated in the aftermath of Hurricane Juan to collect milk for children in need.
