HRM to Offer New E-Service for Recreation Programs, Courses
(Monday, March 8/2004)-- Halifax Regional Municipality is making it easier and more convenient for residents to register for its wide variety of recreation courses and programs.
Mayor Peter Kelly will officially launch this important new advancement in HRM's e-services for customers on Thursday.
"RecConnect," is an electronic service that will allow HRM residents to register for recreation programs from the comfort of their home or office by using the Internet or by touch tone phone. This service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
