Environmental Funding to be Announced
(Friday, March 26/2004)-- Mayor Peter Kelly and senior representatives from the federal and Nova Scotia governments, as well as the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), will be announcing funding for a significant environmental effort for HRM next week.
The project is aimed at helping the municipality to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to mitigate the impact of climate change.
