Mayor to Present Certificates on Behalf of Governor-General
(Tuesday, April 20/2004)-- Mayor Peter Kelly will present the Certificate of Commendation, on behalf of the Governor General of Canada, on Thursday (April 22nd) to five individuals in recognition of their actions following a motor vehicle accident near Waverley on November 14, 2002.
Certificates will be presented to: Don Burgess, Paddy Hilchie, Dave Hill, Mark Hoadley and Jeff Winters for helping to save a young boy who was trapped in a vehicle submerged under water.
