Mayor Kelly to Launch HRM's New Segway HT (Human Transporter)
(Monday, April 26/2004) - Halifax Regional Municipality is launching its newest innovation for Visitor Information Service delivery - the revolutionary Segway HT (Human Transporter).
The introduction of Segway, which is the first of its kind for HRM, presents a new and innovative way of seamlessly getting visitor information into the hands of people.
When: Wednesday, April 28, 2004
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Where: Tall Ships Quay on the Halifax Waterfront (behind Electropolis)
Trained staff will be on site to provide demonstration of the Segway and answer questions.
