Mayor, Ministers To View New HazMat Equipment
(Tuesday, May 4/2004)-- Mayor Peter Kelly will join the Honourable Ernie Fage, Minister Responsible for the Emergency Measures Act, and Environment and Labour Minister Kerry Morash tomorrow morning in Grand Parade to view some new hazardous materials handling equipment acquired for a new federal-provincial-municipal cooperative effort.
Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service's Hazard Materials (HazMat) Response Team will also be on site.
