Public Works Week Bicycle Rodeo
(Tuesday, May 11, 2004)-- As part of Halifax Regional Municipality's celebration of National Public Works Week, May 16 - 22nd, children and parents are invited to a "Bicycle Rodeo" at Mic Mac Mall on Saturday, May 15th.
Public Works and Transportation and Police Services representatives will be on hand to offer tips for making cycling safer in HRM. Bring your bicycle and helmet for some fun, hands-on guidance to bike maintenance and safety. Activity books and information sheets will also be available.
Members of the public are invited to drop by and visit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children, accompanied by parents, and school groups are welcome.
