Public Gardens Media Preview
(Monday, June 28, 2004) - A Media Preview of the Public Gardens will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 , prior to the official re-opening of the Gardens on Canada Day, July 1st, 2004.
When: Tuesday, June 29, 2004
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Where: Horticultural Hall, (Canteen), Side Gate entrance- Spring Garden Rd.
Mayor Peter Kelly, Councillor Dawn Sloane, Robert Pace, Chair of the Halifax Public Gardens Foundation and Public Gardens staff will be on location to give a preview and provide a limited tour of the highlights that citizens can expect to find when the Public Gardens officially re-opens on Thursday, July 1st, 2004.
