11 African-Canadian Fire Fighters Hired by Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency
(Tuesday, July 13, 2004) - Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency will employ eleven African-Canadian fire fighters into the service after completing a 12 week program at the Nova Scotia Fire Fighters' School. The new recruits will be sworn in at a ceremony as follows:
