Weekly Green Cart Collection Program Expanded
(Thursday, July 15/2004)- Regional Council approved expanded weekly green cart service to Eastern Passage/Cow Bay (with Wednesday or Thursday collection), and the Herring Cove/Sambro Loop area (with Friday collection) for the months of July and August. This program will be in effect for the summer time period listed below only.
Upon completion of this enhanced program, collection returns to the regular 2-week green cart/regular refuse schedule. Residents should refer to their 2004/2005 Organics Green Cart and Regular Refuse Collection Schedule for regular collection information. Over the summer, eligible residents can place their Green Cart out for collection weekly, even if it's not full.
Residents are reminded to have their materials curbside before 7AM to ensure collection as times may vary.
