HRM to Mail Out Final 2004/2005 Tax Bills
(Monday, August 16/2004) - Halifax Regional Municipality will be mailing out the final 2004/2005 tax bills, today, Monday, August 16.
The tax bills will be released over a five- day period, starting at 20,000 pieces per day. Approximately 87,000 bills will be sent directly to property owners, while 55,000 will be sent directly to mortgage companies or other financial institutions for payment.
The tax due date is Thursday, September 30, 2004.
For information regarding tax billings, public inquiries should be directed to the HRM Corporate Call Centre at 490-4000.
