Renovated Pavilion All Ages Music Venue to Officially Re-Open
(Wednesday, August 25/2004)-- Mayor Peter Kelly and District 12 Councillor Dawn Sloane will officially re-open the renovated community centre on the Central Common, known as the Pavilion, at a ceremony on Friday.
The municipally-owned Pavilion, which has a private operator, provides a venue for local bands and a local gathering venue for teenagers of all ages. The facility has been recently renovated and upgraded.
The public is invited to attend an open house and the officially re-opening ceremony this Friday.
Also, there will be a concert Friday evening, featuring local entertainer Joel Plaskett the Doors Open at 7:00pm
