Bridge Repairs Necessitate Lane Closures
(Friday, August 27/2004)-- As a result of bridge repairs, traffic on Highway #101 near the Bedford By-Pass will be reduced to one-lane eastbound next week under the structure, effective Monday, August 30.
The structure is located approximately 500 metres west of the Bedford By-Pass exit on Highway 101.
In addition, traffic on the Old Sackville Road will be reduced to a single-lane only during construction.
Work will begin on Monday morning at 8 a.m. and will continue for four or fine days.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use extreme caution when approaching the construction zone.
