Judicial Recount Confirms Rankin Winner in District 22
(Tuesday, November 2/04)--
A judicial recount today officially confirmed the election of Reg
Rankin as Councillor for District 22 (Timberlea-Prospect).
The recount, held this morning at City Hall before Mr. Justice Peter
Richard, determined that Mr. Rankin defeated his nearest opponent
Barb Allen by 39 votes.
The unofficial count on election night October 16 showed that Mr.
Rankin defeated Ms. Allen by 36 votes.
