Councillor Trying to Contact Residents Displaced by Fire
(Tuesday, November 16/04)--
District 8 Councillor Becky Kent would like to make contact with
the former residents of an apartment building at 33 Hastings Street
in Dartmouth, who were left homeless as a result of a fire there
recently.
There were no injuries due to the fire, but approximately 25 residents
were forced to relocate because of the extensive damage to their
apartments.
Councillor Kent said she would like to meet with the former residents
to see if she can address some of their issues and to help them
obtain any assistance they may require.
The Councillor urged the former residents to contact her by telephone
