Donation will Provide for Expansion to Gray Arena in Dartmouth
(Monday, November 22,
2004) – The Dartmouth Whalers Hockey Association, along with
SEDMHA will present a cheque for $50,000 to Mayor Kelly tomorrow,
to assist with the cost of the expansion of the dressing rooms at
the Gray Arena in Dartmouth.
The $50,000 raised from tournament funds and general revenues was
matched with an additional $50,000 from the Province of Nova Scotia
Sport and Recreation Division. HRM will provide $190,000 towards
the expansion of the dressing rooms.
