PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Solid Waste Resource Collection Notice for January 3, 2005
(Friday, December 31, 2004) - Residents of HRM are reminded that regular collection services will occur as usual on Monday, January 3rd, 2005 for material normally scheduled for that day as well as for any material that would have been collected on December 27th (pre-empted by the storm).
Residents are also reminded that due to the seasonal volume of materials, the weather and the storm of December 27th, collection times may vary for refuse, recyclables, organics and natural Christmas trees. Materials may be collected at different times throughout the day and some materials, particularly Christmas trees, may be collected late in the day or even the following day.
