Temporary No Parking For Snow Removal Tonight

(Thursday, December 30, 2004) - Halifax Regional Municipality wishes to advise the public that there will be temporary “No Parking” signs installed in two areas again tonight to facilitate snow removal for the New Year’s Eve Celebration at Parade Square.

Crews will be working in two core areas: the streets bounded by Duke, Lower Water, Salter and Barrington Streets as well as streets bounded by Prince, Barrington, Spring Garden, Dresden, Sackville, and Brunswick Streets.

The temporary parking ban will begin at 8:00 pm tonight, Thursday, December 30th, and be lifted at 8:00 am Friday, December 31st.

Motorists are advised not to park on these streets during this time, as cars could be ticketed or towed.
