Sunday Shopping Inquiries Should be Directed to Province
(Tuesday, October 5/04)--
Halifax Regional Municipality’s Election Information Office
is being overwhelmed by calls from residents seeking information
about the provincial government’s plebiscite on Sunday shopping.
The Province has ordered that its plebiscite be held in conjunction
with municipal elections throughout Nova Scotia on Saturday, October
16.
HRM advises that specific questions about Sunday shopping and the
provincial plebiscite should be directed to the Nova Scotia Department
of Justice at 424-6282 or visit its website at www.gov.ns.ca/just
Inquiries may also be directed to Service Nova Scotia at 424-5200
or 1-800-670-4357.
