Sackville Volunteer Fire Fighters Conducting Ice Rescue Exercise Saturday

(Friday, February 11, 2005 ) - In conjunction with the Sackville Fire Department’s 50th Anniversary, volunteer fire fighters from Stations 9, 10 and 11 will be participating in an ice rescue exercise this Saturday on Lake Thomas, Waverley.

The training session will take place as follows:

Date: Saturday, February 12, 2005
Where: Lake Thomas (Faucheau Lane, Waverley to end of Rocky Lake Road, near Irving)
Time: 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM

This exercise is practised to help fire fighters hone their ice rescue skills.
