Nominations sought for Mayor's Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to a Museum or Archives

(Wednesday, March 16, 2005) - Nomination forms are now available for the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to a Museum or Archives. This award acknowledges a significant or unique contribution by an individual to a museum or archives of the Municipality through their day to day work or in the completion of a specific project.

This award features a monetary prize of $500 as well as a framed certificate of achievement. The recipient will be announced in conjunction with International Museum Day, May 18, 2005. This year’s theme is Museums Bridging Culture.

Deadline for nomination submissions:
Friday, April 15, 2005 at 12 noon.
