Road Closure Due to Construction on Harbour Project

(Tuesday, March 29, 2005) - On or about Monday March 28, 2005, construction on Market Street from Carmichael to Prince Streets will result in the closure of Market Street. Access to Market Street will be available for local traffic only.

The duration of this project will be approximately 3 - 4 weeks.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M., with some weekend work as required.
Experienced traffic control personnel will ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize impacts.

This project will separate storm and sanitary sewers, which are currently combined, to provide environmental enhancements. In some areas, new watermains will be installed at the same time.
