Open House to Discuss New Trail and Footpath

(Tuesday, May 3, 2005)-- The Halifax Urban Greenway Association(HUGA) and HRM have worked with consultants to develop a preliminary design for a multi-use trail and nature footpath between South Street, Point Pleasant Park and Young Avenue.

An Open House will be held tomorrow evening to provide the public with an opportunity to view and comment on the preliminary design. HRM staff, HUGA members and consultant will be present to discuss details and answer questions, as well as to record comments to be used as input in preparing the final design.
