Recruit Program Aimed at Attracting Female Firefighters

(Wednesday, May 25, 2005)- Chief Director Michael Eddy, Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency, will hold a news conference Friday, May 27th to release details of a new recruitment program aimed at attracting more female firefighters to the fire service.

Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency’s current female firefighters and representatives of management will also be in attendance.
