Arborists to Fell 60-foot Decayed Ash Tree

(Thursday, June 23/2005) -- Arborists from throughout the Atlantic Provinces will be in Halifax this weekend for an annual tree pruning and tree-cutting workshop.

The event will be held tomorrow and Saturday at the Camp Hill Cemetery, as HRM hosts members of the Atlantic Chapter of the International Society Of Arboriculture.

On Saturday, the arborists will be taking down a 60-foot ash tree in the cemetery, which is decayed at the base and could pose a safety hazard.
