Halifax Road Construction

(Wednesday, August 17, 2005) - Continuing Thursday, August 18, 2005 construction related to the Harbour Solutions Project will necessitate the closure of the southbound lane of Barrington Street at the intersection of Duffus Street.

The closure will be in effect during the off-peak hours of 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. The northbound lane of Barrington St. at Duffus St. will be reduced to single lane stop and go traffic during this time period.

The duration of this project will be 1 working day between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Experienced traffic control personnel will ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize impacts.
