Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency Partners with
Heritage Gas for Training Exercise

 

(Thursday, November 10, 2005) - On Monday, November 14th, Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency will partner with representatives from Heritage Gas to participate in a training exercise pertaining to a natural gas emergency. This exercise is being carried out to demonstrate that Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency, and Heritage Gas, are working together to be prepared for possible natural gas situations.

The exercise will take place at 33 and 40 Lakeview Avenue in Crichton Park, Dartmouth, between 2:00 and 4:30 PM. Residents in the area are advised that this is only a training exercise and not a real emergency.
