Sewer Work Expected to Cause Long Traffic Delays

(Thursday, November 17/05)-- Motorists are advised that trenching along the Bedford Highway, at Glenmount Drive, for installation of new sewer/water services will likely result in lengthy traffic delays this coming Sunday (November 20.)

Construction is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Crews will be blasting rock formations, so traffic movement will be halted at times, and the Bedford Highway will be reduced to one-lane at this location.

As a result, motorists are encouraged to seek alternate travel routes and to avoid this construction area on Sunday. The trench crossing, from the Basin side of the Bedford Highway to the Glenmount side, is expected to be completed late Sunday.
