Natural Gas Pipeline Installation To Cause Traffic Delays

(Friday, December 2/05)-- Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays on two busy Dartmouth streets, beginning this weekend, due to installation of natural gas pipelines.

Crews will be working on Windmill Road at the CN underpass, beginning Sunday (December 4 / 05). Work will continue on a 24-hour basis until completed. Estimated time of job completion is two days .

Traffic will be reduced to one lane at this section of roadway, with“ Stop & Go “ traffic control.

In addition, there will be pipeline construction on Princess Margaret Boulevard at the CN Rail Crossing, beginning Monday (December 5). This work is expected to take three days to complete.

Once again, traffic will be reduced to one lane at this point, with “ Stop & Go “ traffic control.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate travel routes to avoid delays.
