Natural Gas Pipeline Installation To Cause Traffic Delays

(Tuesday, December 6/05)-- Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays this week on two busy Dartmouth streets, due to installation of natural gas pipelines.

Construction began today on Princess Margaret Boulevard, at the CN Rail Crossing. Traffic will be reduced to one lane at this point, with “ Stop & Go “ traffic control. This work is expected to take three days to complete.

Crews will be working on Windmill Road at the CN underpass, beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m. Work will continue on a 24-hour basis until completed. Estimated time of job completion is two days .

Once again traffic will be reduced to one lane at this section of roadway, with“ Stop & Go “ traffic control.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate travel routes, if possible, to avoid delays.
